Vacation Bible School Announcement

A brand new Vacation Bible School will debut this summer at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral! The program will be held Monday through Friday (July 9–13, 2012), from 9:00 to 1:00 p.m.  Sessions will be in English.  Children from all religious affiliations are welcome!  However, space is limited.

“I remember how much fun Vacation Bible School used to be,” commented Douglas McCaleb, the Dean of the Cathedral.  “As kids, we’d get all excited—and we’d bring our neighborhood friends with us, too.”

This year’s theme is “Ask and Imagine!” – a theme that soundly and enthusiastically conveys that God is real, good, and empowers us to our unique purpose in life.  Children entering grades K through 5 participate in numerous fun events and activities throughout each day. Some of the highlights of the week are an outstanding music program, arts and crafts and visits from local Miami attractions.

“In our area, families have a lot of summer camp options to choose from. What makes ours unique – in addition to all the fun – is that there’s an equal emphasis on helping the kids build a spiritual foundation. With our exciting special events, caring team-leaders and continual fun, it is a positive life-changing experience for all involved,” said Dean McCaleb.

The VBS week concludes Sunday with a joy-filled Mass at 10 AM in the Cathedral with the kids and their family members in attendance. The children will present a musical presentation during the Mass.  All are welcome to attend and enjoy!
