I am an engineer.  Did my undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis) and University of California (Los Angeles). I worked in various capacities at UCLA, Bechtel Corporation in California, Shell Oil Companies in Nigeria, The Netherlands and The United States as well as an independent Consultant after retirement from Shell.
