Faith Kenyon
My name is Faith Kenyon. I am 26 years old and originally from New Hampshire. I moved to Miami in 2015 after graduating from high school to serve as an Americorps Member with City Year Miami, an educational nonprofit that serves under-resourced schools in Miami Dade County. I served at Georgia Jones-Ayers Middle School in Allapattah for the 2015-16 school year. After my year of service, I attended the University of South Florida beginning in January 2017 and graduated in August 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy. Following graduation, I returned to Miami and began working for Miami Dade County's Division of Environmental Resources Management in November of 2019. Currently, I am a Biologist II working with the Wetlands Resources Section. I assist county residents & developers with obtaining permits for work in wetlands while avoiding and/or minimizing the impacts to this crucial ecosystem as well as monitor wetland preserve areas throughout the county. I have been a member of Trinity Cathedral since moving to Edgewater in 2020. I have participated in the Anglican Chorale of Southeast Florida, and I currently serve on the Flower Guild and Reader Ministry of the Cathedral. I am honored to be considered as a new member of the Cathedral Chapter.
